Biggest Wins to Date

Highlights from our work so far.

Preserved 28 Million Acres
of Public Lands

We helped save protections for some of our last large, intact landscapes, and supported 100+ Alaska Native communities in protecting their food sovereignty.

Transformed 49 Pacific
Northwest Rivers

We worked to expand a wild fish zone across the Pacific Northwest: rivers now primarily managed for wild fish.

Saved the Skeena River From Development

Our coalition stopped a liquified
natural gas terminal that would negatively impact
juvenile salmon from more than 40 different populations.

Created the First Salmon
Park on the Kol River

We helped to permanently protect 544,000 acres in Russia: an area that’s home to six different salmon species.

Stopped the Sustina River Dam Project

We helped prevent the flooding of 40,000 acres of prime recreation and hunting lands, and protected five local salmon species.

Protected 10 Million Acres
of Oregon Forestland

We led a coalition that negotiated with timber companies to reform forestry practices along 60,000 river miles in Oregon.

Saved Bristol Bay From
the Pebble Mine

We ended decades of threat to the world’s greatest wild sockeye salmon fishery by securing protections for the main headwaters of Bristol Bay.
